New pics up of Wyatt - by kim | June 01, 2007, 02:58:29 PM
Well it is June 1st.  14 more days till this baby is due out of my belly.  I have issued him an eviction notice but I don't think he is listening.  We had a Dr. appt today, everything is progressing well, but no labor yet.. Angry

We are getting anxious for the baby to get here.  If the child listens to me, I'll start labor in the morning, have the baby in the late afternoon, and everything will go peachy keen.. Grin

Baby #2 is a Boy and we have pictures - by Mark | January 26, 2007, 10:04:50 PM
Well....today Kim had her ultrasound of our baby.

Everything is normal and Wyatt will soon have a baby brother.  So I guess we have to try for a girl sometime in the future.  At least we will not have to buy any clothes.

UPDATE
One other thing....in many states it is perfectly legal to abort a child at 20 weeks of gestation.  How can anyone look at these ultrasounds, and rationalize infanticide?  We can argue when life begins, but there can be no doubt it begins very early in pregnancy.  To argue otherwise is to ignore ultrasound images and the obviousness of the life they show.

Wyatt's 18 month check-up - by kim | January 08, 2007, 10:05:49 PM
We went to Wyatt's 18 month check-up today.  He was very good and even chipper and smiling while we layed him down on the table for this shots.  There were 2 nurses that jabbed him simultaniously.  In like .5 sec he went to angry, red-faced, screaming child.  But only 3 minutes later he was playing with the toy tractor in there and fine again.  His height was 32 inches (30th percentile), Weight was 24.55 lbs (25th percentile) and head circ. 48.5 cm (75th percentile).  He is following his growth chart quite well the doctor said.  He checked out fine for everything, so all is well.  His next appt. wont be till he is 2 years old, and no more shots till school.  Smiley

I will be having a sonogram done on the 26th of this month, so maybe will have news about the new baby then.

Oh and Christmas 2006 pics are up on the website, check check under the link Photo Album.

Baby # 2 is on its way! - by Mark | December 20, 2006, 10:11:47 PM
Well...our Christmas cards are mailed....and we can now announce that Kim and I are expecting another baby on June 15, 2007.  Wyatt will soon be sharing his Mommy and Daddy with a little baby brother or sister.  The ticker above called Baby 2, tracks his/her development.

So far no complications for baby or Mommy.  We have a sonigram scheduled for late January, and should know the sex then.  Of course we will keep everyone updated as the months go by.

Wyatt Keeps Growing Up - by Mark | July 19, 2006, 08:46:17 AM
It has been quite sometime since I posted an update on Wyatt's progress towards adulthood.  He is starting to learn words and even has a couple of his own.  His favorite words at the moment are: Mama, Dada, Dog, Cat, Duh, and Dee.  He also recently learned to sign "All Done".  The neat thing about that is that it is completely obvious he understands the meaning because he uses it after we get to the end of a book.  He also has decided that "All done" is a good thing to sign periodically for no apparent reason.  Or when he is trying to get out of eating a proper dinner.

Wyatt is getting better at walking each day, but he still falls down a lot.  He is turning into a major climber, so we really need to watch him closely.  He experienced his first "adult" pool this weekend and seemed to really enjoy the experience.

He also has gotten his first molar tooth a couple of weeks ago and now has all of his front teeth in.   Thankfully he has not started to try biting yet.  Although, he does seem to rather enjoy ripping out my arm and chest hair.  About a month ago we completely transitioned him to whole milk and he eats pretty much everything Kim and I eat now.

Today Wyatt is 13 months old.  It is amazing how fast time moves when you are having fun.

Wyatt's First Birthday! - by Mark | June 21, 2006, 08:50:58 PM
At the request of Grandma Carolyn, I have posted pictures from Wyatt's First Birthday at Chuck E Cheese.  Wyatt had tons of fun.  I also have posted some new pictures of Wyatt just hanging out trying to pick up chicks.  This one is my favorite.

UPDATE: This picture is pretty sweet also.  Wyatt is probably thinking "What you lookin at sucka?!?"

Wyatt is now 1 Year Old!!!! - by Mark | June 19, 2006, 07:58:41 AM
Today Wyatt is officially one year old.

Happy Birthday Wyatt!

It has been a busy year.  We plan on doing something small, with just the three of us, to celebrate his birthday.   It really is hard to believe a full year has gone by since he was born.

Wyatt's HFMD update - by Mark | June 02, 2006, 01:58:10 PM
Wyatt is feeling better today.  Lots of giggling and laughing and playing.  I imagine he is nearly recovered from HFMD.  Unfortunately, my throat is now sore, so I fear I have been infected. Baby

Wyatt has some sort of Virus - by Mark | May 30, 2006, 12:56:31 PM
Kim just left a voicemail message to me at work letting me know that Wyatt has some sort of virus.  He has been running a fever for about 24 hours now.  She took him into the doctor around noon.  I will post an update later today, once I know what the deal is.  At this point I do not think it is too serious, but it will likely mean that our party this weekend we were planning for my work buddies will be canceled.  I am beginning to think someone does not wish for Kim and I to have a social life.

UPDATE:  Well...apparently Wyatt has "Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD)".  Not much we can do besides make him comfortable.  The virus should run its course in 5-7 days.  And the bonus is that it is higly contagious, which means Kim and I are likely to get it as well.  JOY!!!
